Writing new tracks.......

These next two months are all about writing tracks for me- I'll be in and out of recording especially next month so I am spending most of my time in my own little world- just me and my keyboard!  :)

...Is finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel....

I'm having a lovely morning off this morning, then I'll be writing music all afternoon.  I'm finally putting the pieces together and getting organised with everything. You can check out my new website on lianamccarthy.co.uk.

....Rest Day!!!

Today I am in need of a pure relaxing day!! I've had a really long week and finally finished the stretch of gigs, tracks and video's.  I have some recording to do with Swami, but before that starts... today i am going to spend time with my little puppy- go for walks and try and get better and I am a little ill at the moment!! :)

This weekend.....

I will be performing in Bristol this Saturday and Croydon this sunday with Swami for all that want to come along.... its a free event so everyone come along.  Saturday we are on at 7.30pm and sunday we are on at 3.30pm.  For all that want to check out a live stream of our rehearsals go to swamimusic.com/live and check it out on youstream.  Have a good day everyone- chat soon :)

...Had my hair done today!!

Been to the hairdressers this morning and I'm in for the afternoon working on tracks...... I am going to take this afternoon off to relax I think!! A much need rest!!!

Spending the day working on swami tracks today...

With the release of Swami's international album coming we are all working hard writing tracks for the album- so today, I'm stuck into writing........ love it!!

Hates Mondays........

I dont like Mondays...... but today I have woke up very positive ( and ridiculously early!) and created a small masterpiece on my computer so I'm feeling good!  Good start to the day- but I have a very long day ahead, time to get working. :)

Thank god its the weekend!

..... I've had a really long week- but this afternoon I can relax as it's my nephews 1st birthday so I'll be there willing the sun to come out for him to have a lovely day....... until then though I'll be stuck into writing my tracks.  I've got 3 gigs in England with swami in August which is a big change as I'm usually performing in other countries, so I will keep my page updated with dates as soon as they are confirmed.

Long week!!!

Well, its a long week this week!!  only half way through....... still writing away as usual- nearly there with my 2 tracks I'm working on so excited about that.  There is lots of footage of me on facebook and youtube from the tour with Swami in Toronto so chack it out if you get a chance.....I'll link it to this page this week so you can take a look :) ....

I have a really long couple of days ahead of me, just got back from the gym and I wont finish tonight until late........... I can do it!!!

Hot hot hot...

Today I am spending the morning on my friends boat which will be nice as its still boiling outside, then this afternoon ill be concentrating on my music again.  But Ill be topping up my tan first!! 

I'm writing today.........

I'm working on 2 tracks today, 1 is for Swami and the other is a follow up house track for myself.  So today I'm working on these tracks- and i've taken a little break to send out some more pictures on me in Toronto....... I'm still jet lagged!!!

We are performing tomorrow at the BBC centre in London at 6-7pm, then on Thursday I will be flying straight out to Toronto for 2 weeks.....I will be updating my blog from time to time on my mobile while on tour but will keep you all updated with photo's and footage on my return.....See you all soon :)

Sunday....Ahhh rest day today!

Having a lovely day off today, I went out last night for a few drinks with a good friend- Noel from the AJBrothers.  I've been to the gym and now I'm having an afternoon to rest before the busy tour lined up for the next few weeks!  So I'm enjoying today- especially as the sun is shining!

Just about to go to the gym, then when I get back I will be running through the tracks for Swami.  I have a gig at the BBC centre next Wednesday and then fly to Toronto for 2 weeks the following day. .... Not sure what I'm wearing for the gigs yet so I might have to have a brief shopping session later!! :)

I've just got back from the Romania Music Awards and I'm now rehearsing to tour with swami in Toronto next week :)
